September 2021 Updates

Hello all and we are hope you are keeping well and safe.
A couple of things to mention in case you haven’t received your September issue of our newsletter.
Visiting
If you wish to visit, please remember that you must pre book your visit and if you wish to have a close contact visit then you are required to have an LFD test. If you would prefer you can do your own test at home on the day of your visit as long as you bring proof that this test has been registered. Proof can be either an email or a text message which you should receive once you have registered your test. If you do wish to carry out your own test and register this then you should report this as a person visiting a care home, at this point it will ask you for a Unique Organisation Number (UON). Please ring the home for this number or refer to your September newsletter. If you would like any further advice, then please feel free to ring the home and we can help you with this.
Vaccine Update
As you may be aware the deadline for care home staff to have had their first dose of the vaccine was the 16th September 2021, we are pleased to announce that 97% of our staff have now had their first vaccination and 86% of our staff are double vaccinated. Unfortunately, the compulsory vaccine has caused us to some members of our team and so we have been recruiting and you may see some new faces in the coming weeks.
MacMillan Coffee Morning
You may be aware that September is the month that MacMillan hold their annual coffee morning. Due to the pandemic, we cannot hold the coffee morning as we usually would, but we would love to invite you to join us virtually for a catch up. If you would like to join us, then please phone the office to arrange this. The date is 29th September 2021 between 10:00 – 12:00.
