Join us for Coffee Afternoon
Macmillan Coffee Morning is officially hosted at the end of September and is the perfect chance to meet up for a chat whilst raising money towards cancer support and research. Each year we host a coffee morning/afternoon at Thorpe House and this year is no different with ours being held on Thursday 21st September 2023.

Celebrate our CQC Result!
Join us to celebrate! We are pleased to announce that after our recent inspection from CQC we have achieved ‘good’ in all areas.

May 2023 Updates
We are pleased to say the barn is now open and the CQC have registered us for the five additional beds. This means that we will be welcoming new residents to Thorpe House in the near future. See the attached photos for a look inside the barn!


What have we been up to…
Hello, we hope you are all keeping safe and well. We have had a busy few months at the beginning of this year and we just wanted to update you on the things we have been up to. June has been our busiest month of the year for events. Starting with the long Jubilee weekend to celebrate the platinum jubilee we hosted a range of events over the weekend including.

April 2022 Updates
We are introducing a manager drop in session where you can have time to talk with the manager Auriol Turner. This will be available on the first Wednesday of each month between 3-5pm as protected time. You are welcome to use this time to talk with Auriol via phone call, video call or book a face-to-face meeting. If this time isn’t suitable or you require to have a discussion on a more urgent basis Auriol can be contacted at any time via phone or email.

September 2021 Updates

A couple of things to mention in case you haven’t received your September issue of our newsletter.

Our Barn Conversion Plans
We are delighted to announce that we are expanding and are starting works on the barn conversion in June. This is expected to be completed within 6 months and will create 5 new bedrooms. Each of these rooms will be en-suite and have adaptable cooking facilities depending on an individual basis. Within the barn alongside the 5 bedrooms there will be a kitchen, dining room, laundry room and a nurse’s station.
