Our plans for Easter

As COVID-19 remains part of our everyday lives we are adapting to keep our residents as safe as possible.
As we settle into 2021, we have lots of exciting upcoming events here at Thorpe House for both our residents and staff to enjoy.
As you may be aware there is a petition for a national holiday and day of remembrance for those lost in the COVID pandemic and this is proposed for the 23rd March which is the date the national lockdown began in the UK in 2020. To show our respect we are hosting a coffee afternoon where there will be refreshments available and a chance for residents to sit down and have a natter with their peers and staff.
Easter will be upon us not long after and there is a host of activities planned for this special time. As part of these festivities, we will be hosting a pop-up shop for residents and there will be more refreshments available. Not forgetting our famous easter bonnet competition, each year residents design and make their own easter bonnet which are then displayed and voted for by their peers and staff.
We’ll continue to take photos and update you as our residents have fun and celebrate this special time of year.
